The very tip of the Llŷn — the 'Land's End of Wales' — where a hairpin lane climbs to a former coastguard lookout and coastal heath drops to a fierce tide-race, with Bardsey Island floating across the sound. It's a place of old pilgrimage and pure sunset perfection. St Mary's Well hides in the rocks below, porpoises often work the current offshore, and the whole headland invites a slow wander. The lanes are tiny, so arrive off-peak. Free and open.
