A derelict Victorian brickworks with distinctive beehive kilns clinging to the edge of a turquoise cove — the most photogenic ruin on Anglesey's north coast, best admired from the coast path above. The works themselves are private and unstable, so view rather than explore, approaching from the Llanbadrig or Cemaes side. Wild, strange and quietly beautiful. Free.

Porth Wen Brickworks is in North Anglesey, Anglesey (Ynys Môn). It's roughly 30 min (10.1 miles) from Benllech , and within reach of Holyhead (35 min) and Trearddur Bay (38 min).
The nearest parking: Lay-by on the lane between Cemaes and Bull Bay (limited). Grid reference SH 396 931 — works on any OS map and doesn't need a phone signal.
