A cheerful seaside village at the end of Swansea Bay's five-mile promenade, with a restored Victorian pier, a lighthouse headland and a strip of cafés and ice-cream parlours — the eastern gateway to the Gower. Walk or cycle the sweeping bay promenade, and climb Mumbles Hill for the view over the whole sweep. Local ice cream and a plate of cockles and laverbread are the traditional order. Parking is paid.

Mumbles & Swansea Bay is in Swansea, Gower. It's roughly 8 min (1.4 miles) from Swansea & Mumbles , and within reach of Port Eynon (30 min) and Rhossili (38 min).
The nearest parking: Seafront parking along Mumbles Road. Grid reference SS 631 876 — works on any OS map and doesn't need a phone signal.
Good to know
Walk or cycle the bay promenade; climb to Mumbles Hill for the view. Verry Elleve... local ice cream and mussels are the tradition.
